The  conger,  is a conger of the family Congridae, found from Norway and Iceland to the eastern Atlantic to Senegal, and also in the Mediterranean and Black Sea. Congers have a maximum length of 3.5 meters (10.5 feet), and weigh up to 120 kilos (265 lb), making them the largest eels in the world.
