Tripletail live in tropical and subtropical seas worldwide; their range is widespread through the Indian, Atlanticand Pacific oceans.
While live shrimp or live small fish seem to be the preferred bait of many anglers, tripletails will attack dead baits, jigs, plugs or shrimp pattern flies and sometimes popping bugs.
